STOLEN FROM DIGG.COM: According to Fox News, the biggest problem America has right now is education. Not the education system mind you, but education in and of itself. You see, education can turn you (and your children!) into Liberals. Obviously, this needs to be stopped. I for one will never read a “book” again. I am so sick of the universe insisting I learn new stuff when I already know everything I would ever want to know or be interested in knowing.

This being Ash Wednesday and all, let’s talk for a moment about those kooky Catholics. I know a lot of friends of mine, including my wife are Catholic. This in no way reflects on the entire Catholic body. In fact, I generally hate generalizations (generally speaking). A few weeks back, however, I cancelled the free subscription we had been given to “Salvio” or something for our wedding. The reason was an article warning parents about the “Dangers of College.” These dangers were not drugs, unprotected sex, binge drinking, or credit debt. Oh, no. The dangers parents were warned of were, “Non-Catholic professors,” secular history classes, teaching of non-Christian cultures, and a lack of prayer in the classroom. In short, The Catholic Register felt that a college education was potentially damaging to any Catholic. Just like the logic that going to the Hospital will kill you.
