Smoking the iPhone indoors and saving on the cost of lighters.

In my lengthy quest to quit smoking I have tried a few different nicotine delivery methods, but most often try to force myself into submission through sheer will by going cold turkey. It hasn’t worked in the past and will most likely continue not to work long into the future.

So a friend of mine recommended the electronic cigarette. Based on the same NASA technology as a humidifier, it vaporizes a nicotine liquid into a mist I inhale rather than actual carcinogenic smoke. I’m not gonna lie to you, Internet: this thing is awesome. I think I might like it better than actually smoking, and I’ll tell you why: I can smoke this thing anywhere, and I mean anywhere. I was puffing away in a Maggiano’s last night and nobody noticed. I picture myself sitting at a bar, pounding beers and puffing away while all those saps with the old-timey cigarettes head outside. This is the new technology. This is the new hotness.
